New Goals for August 16-October 22

1.) This semester I am going to finish my CAHSEE math book for Connie's class. Which is my independent work that I'm taking home. Foe Dawns class i am going to participate and earn bonus points also i am going to work on my independent
literature book for 2 credits.

2.) For my personal goal i am going to stay clean and not have to worry about losing my son! Working harder in school and putting more effort into my studies so i don't have extra time to think about that stuff.

3.) yes, i achieved my goals for my last semester because i got the credits i needed and even more.!!!!!

Goals for next 10 week term:

Academic Goals:

1.) I am going to fill in a whole box in english 10b. I am going to complete my independent studies english book and turn it in by the next grading term.

2.) In connies class i am working on getting a whole box also in geometry and to do that I am going to finish up all my class work and independent work too.

Social Goals:

3.) for myself i want to get over greg completely and move on in my life and hopefully meet someone who i like who will treat me better and i will be happy again. thats a major goal that i am trying to do and it is really hard.

4.) also, for my last goal i want to try to stop eating so much junk food and candy and SODA! so i can have my old body back. i use to be real skinny and i think the main reason why i loved greg was because he would always tell me how beautiful i am and it made me feel good but when i went home and looked in the mirror i thought i looked ugly. i have low self-esteem.

The Pill and the Sexual Revolution

The sexual revolution was about female sexual empowerment. Many conservatives felt that the sexual revolution was an invitation to promiscuity. As females sexuality and premarital sex moved out of the shadows the pill became the sexual revolution. People argued that the pill was in fact responsible for the sexual revolution. The risk of pregnancy and the stigma that went along with it prevented single women from having sex and married women from having affairs. Females could finally have sex with anyone they wanted to without the risk or pregnancy, married or single women. Single women could now have sex with anyone just like men could. The thought of women behaving in the same way as the men disturbed many in America. Unmarried women were having sex prior to the advent of the pill, they were just using different and less effective forms of contraception. Virginity and marriage were slowly replaced by a celebration of single life and sexual exploration. For example, Hugh Hefner put out a racy new magazine called playboy that promoted bachelorhood and the swinging single life style. In the 1960's civil rights era, the traditional notion that a women wouldn't find a husband if she wasn't a virgin was wrong and absurd. Looking at all of this, is the pill the real cause of the sexual revolution in America or maybe the two put together?

Academic Goals!

1.) I am planning to try to finish my 9th year literature book and turn it in to dianna. I want to try to get a least 3 boxes filled in so i can work harder to finish school. I need credits because i missed 3 years of school when i dropped out!

2.) another goal I want to accomplish here at Linsay is to finish my science book in Connies class. she gave me indepent work and i want to complete it all!!!

Graduation Day at Lindsay Communitie School!

1.) Ingridth Jimenez was a specially Graduate here a lindsay communtie school. She was an excellent student and always went above and beyond in here work. She deserves to graduate with honor here at Lindsay Communtie School.




2.) When my day comes to Graduate, I am going to feel so proud of myself for staying in school and accomplishing my goal. I want to achieve this goal so bad and i am going to do it. No matter how much work I have to do or how long it takes me im going to finish school with honors. and nothing less. :)
